Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a results-oriented, experienced, and collaborative People Ops Manager to manage all areas of Talent amp; Culture including Recruiting, Employee Onboarding, HR, Training, Culture, and Employee Engagement. We are looking for a strategic yet hands-on people leader who thrives in a high growth, fast-paced company. The position will be based out of our Toronto Headquarters.


What You Will Accomplish

  • Hiring: Ensure that we have the right talent acquisition strategies to attract the right people to join our growing team. Manage all the logistics of our recruiting process from identifying our talent needs, developing amp; advertising job description, to overseeing the recruiting process from initial application to new employee onboarding. Proactively identify and recommend enhancements that are needed to achieve talent acquisition goals based on current amp; future business needs.
  • Data-Driven Hiring Processes: Establish processes and train our team leads to interview in accordance with best practices and utilize talent tools (ATS amp; Skills Assessments)
  • Training: Identify skills development needs across our organization as well as training programs to ensure our team continues to learn amp; develop their professional skills, aligned with established Career Development plans
  • Culture Champion: Drive, amplify, and scale the Company Culture. Develop and implement programs and processes to ensure that our culture remains aligned with our Core Values as the company scales and expands the team. Champion and evolve our culture to create an environment for people to do their best work; using both your deep knowledge of our people and a data-driven approach to decision making
  • Employee Engagement: Recommend, develop and implement programs to sustain positive employee morale and increase employee retention. Be a coach to team leads to advise on people practices that support our long-term growth strategy
  • HR Administration: Set up new employees with benefits; provide new hires with new hire employment packages detailing benefits and other matters; prepare employment agreements; own the new employee onboarding experience. Equip team leads with their responsibilities in a successful employee onboarding process.
  • Employee Development: Oversee and administers the comp plans across all teams. Works with team lead to provide tools and training and oversee the processes for performance reviews, appraisals, career goals amp; development plans, and comp plans.
  • HR Best Practices: Keeps up-to-date on market to ensure that the Company’s pay practices amp; HR processes are current, and recommend adjustments as needed. Be a business partner to the executive team on all compensation and incentive matters including industry benchmarks, market conditions, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education and at least 7 years of experience in HR amp; Talent Management within a high growth, fast-paced technology company
  • Proven track record building out practices and programs to attract, accelerate and retain top talent
  • Experience managing numerous HR functions People, Talent, Culture, Performance Management, Learning amp; Development, New Employee Onboarding, and Employee Engagement;
  • Business acumen and sound judgement; Able to analyze information and decide on the most appropriate course of action. Can deliver results amp; solutions while dealing with ambiguity and complexity.
