The Opportunity: Risk Analyst - Risk Management
As part of the Risk Management group, this role will rotate through our Credit Risk Modelling amp; Analytics, Operational Risk Management and Enterprise Risk Management teams. The ATB 101 student will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of initiatives such as building documentation archive hubs, supporting ongoing risk activities (risk and control assessment, new initiative assessments, key risk indicators etc.) and helping to enhance our processes through data insights and enablement. The ideal candidate is passionate about risk, is creative, has strong technical skills (Google Sheets, Apps Script, Slides etc.) and loves collaborating.
Requirements
- Be passionate and motivated about pursuing a career in Risk Management.
- Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate from a degree program with a specialization in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Mathematics or another relevant subject.
- Have a strong working knowledge of Excel, Google and Tableau. Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, SAS or Python would be an asset.
- Come with an analytical mind. Be confident to ask questions, seek information, dissect problems, and suggest innovative solutions.
- Eager to roll up your sleeves and take on new challenges.
- A curious mind, a person that is always asking why but is able to balance that with extremely strong execution.
