As ATB’s next Business Analyst III, you are crucial to supporting continuous process improvements with Workflow Improvements amp; Automation. Your strong Process Analysis focus during process improvement is key, as you work collaboratively with Process Owners and cross functional teams, to conduct root cause analysis, gather supporting data and insights, identify solutions and implement improvements using our Service Now tool of choice. You ensure proper documentation is created or updated for consistent transparency of end to end process, and you have relentless focus on upstream and downstreams impacts as you work on Enterprise process improvements. Your advanced people skills, detail oriented adaptive nature, and your consistent willingness to try new ways to achieve team driven solutions to process improvement are key to being successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with the Workflow Improvement amp; Automation Director to ensure successful implementation of projects while also ensuring protocols and practices are consistent across Advancement
  • Assessing to determine the appropriate scope and resourcing for project implementations
  • Facilitate and lead process modeling workshops / meetings, in order to collaborate on process improvements
  • Take part in leading all phases of a process initiative for the successful adoption of the solution
  • Analyze needs, recommend strategy, formulate action plans and requirements, in improving tools and automating processes
  • Capture and document business requirements for project and process improvement/automation efforts, workflows, knowledge articles
  • Directly involved in the preparation of various documents such as business processes, high level user documents, test scripts, presentations, communications, training resources etc.
  • Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project, the necessity of project standards amp; applies them consistently.
  • Assist in the development of business, technical, scope and requirements documentation, databases, and reporting.
  • Works collaboratively with Operations Analysts and Business Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) by participating in process reviews and/or providing process modeling services of current state and/or future state.
  • Participates in the establishment and continuous review and improvement of Business Analysis standards, procedures, and processes that support the general competencies outlined in the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) as appropriate for your position

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Operations process automation, and Service Now
  • 3 -5 years related experience
  • Proven experience with Business Process Management lifecycle and modeling techniques.
  • Post secondary education in a related field, with relevant industry related experience is preferred
  • Mastery proficiency level of the Google Suite of products
  • Lean Management/ Business Analysis certification a plus
  • Produce and deliver effective and professional written materials including presentations to partners and stakeholders
  • Review information and trends to ensure that the output of processes are achieving the desired results and that services are meeting agreed upon service levels as you work with teams to consider KPIs
  • Conduct maturity assessments against the process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns
  • Identify issues and risks
  • Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of leadership
  • Extract reports and provide a high-level analysis of data for review
