We are looking to recruit a candidate in a dynamic supply chain role as the Courier Operations Analyst at Goodfood who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and high growth environment. The Courier Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting a 5-star delivery experience and Goodfood’s sustained profitability by owning the execution of continuous improvement initiatives, reporting, and analysis. This Analyst is a quantitatively minded and resourceful team player who can think out of the box in an ambiguous problem space. They are willing to roll up their sleeves to help build a business unit that is transforming Goodfood’s last mile delivery capabilities. This person will report into the Senior Director of Logistics, Courier.
Responsibilities:
- Report and analyze the key performance indicators (KPIs) of 100s of delivery partners across Canada
- Provide weekly analysis and actionable recommendations to management
- Support the analysis and design of the national growth strategy
- Build systems that support and improve the frequency and reliability of delivery cost, quality, and operational data
- Lead the execution of process automation for management and operations teams
- Develop and govern operational standard operating procedures (SOP) for the operations team which ensure the integrity of data within our internal systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Business Intelligence
- 3+ years experience with statistics, data analysis, and decision modeling
- Experience with programming and data related tools (Python, SQL, Power Pivot, Power Query, APIs, Looker/BI, GIS)
- Experience in e-commerce, logistics, or operations
- Understanding of operations management, challenges, opportunities, and techniques

- Fluent in Excel (or any other tool) You have a proven ability to develop creative solutions with existing tools and are comfortable learning new technologies bonus points if you want to leave Excel in the dust
- Detail oriented You possess strong organizational skills and consistently demonstrate a methodical approach to all your work
- A natural communicator You can explain information and processes to a variety of audiences written and verbally
- Ability to prioritize effectively, multitask and easily manage stress in a demanding business environment
