Over the past year, Goodfood has transformed itself from a provider of ready-to-cook meals delivered directly to consumers’ homes into an Online Grocery company' with a growing line of Private Label products. As part of this continued growth, we are looking to add a talented and motivated Strategic Analyst to our Grocery Experience team who will play a key role in shaping the way Canadians from coast-to-coast experience their online food shopping on a regular basis.

Reporting to the Director Grocery Experience, the Strategic Analyst, Innovation amp; Projects will work cross-functionally across New Vertical, Category and Operations teams to bring to life new programs and projects supporting our Grocery business including the launch of new category verticals as well as operational improvement initiatives aimed at improving customer experience. The Analyst will work closely with cross functional teams to ensure common alignment to strategy, goals, timelines budgets, and help drive implementation and execution for new innovation programs and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end to end programs and initiatives from building pilot plans to implementing scalable solutions
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to coordinate the development, implementation and monitoring of new programs and processes supporting our Grocery business
  • Responsible for scoping, coordinating, executing, and tracking all project/program initiatives where applicable
  • Builds new processes to support program and new initiatives, and documents such processes in the form of SOPs
  • Proactively identify, share and escalate (as required) project-related issues and risks, develop communications, materials and presentations to inform leadership and cross-functional teams around plans, meeting minutes, status reports, charter, risk and issue lists, schedules, resource plans and communications

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years in a previous analyst role ideal in retail, ecommerce, supply chain, consulting, or procurement
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude who is highly adept at organizing and communicating up, down and across the organization
  • Project and change management knowledge
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, knowing when to take calculated risks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to influence
  • Give attention to details and be highly organized
