Reporting to the PLM Manager, theProduct lifecycle management (PLM) Project Coordinator is responsible for the execution of culinary innovations and market product offerings. You will collaborate with various cross-functional teams with a highly agile environment.

This role is accepting candidates from both the Montreal or Toronto region.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Executing the product lifecycle management (PLM) strategy by providing viable solutions and implementing into daily processes;
  • Planning and tracking team progress to ensure milestones of key projects are completed on time and within planned margins;
  • Coordinating testing and evaluation of newly developed recipes or packaging solutions and communicating required adjustments to internal teams;
  • Carrying out post product launch performance reviews to ensure adherence to initially established formulas or recipes;
  • Monitoring and reporting of inaccuracies or deviations within bill of materials (BOM) requiring action;
  • Coordinating schedules with planning, operations and sourcing teams to deliver implementation of new recipes or sellable goods;
  • Acting as a key point of communication for all changes, delays and technical or commercial issues that may arise during the new product development project;
  • Collecting inputs on options, timelines and availability from cross-functional teams (sourcing, planning, operations, quality) to ensure accuracy in new recipe development.
  • Other duties as assigned, within supply chain function

Desired skills and experience:

  • Experience as a project coordinator with a focus on new product launches within the grocery or retail industries;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with product teams within budgetary and schedule constraints;
  • Internal and external stakeholder management in an agile or just-in-time (JIT) work environment;
  • Capacity to handle ad-hoc requests or time sensitive ad-ons to planned projects;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teams across the organization;
  • Proactive, intrapreneurial aptitudes allowing you to work autonomously with little oversight;
  • Bilingualism: English and French (an asset);
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or other relevant major (an asset).
