We’re looking for a Business Process Manager to identify and drive opportunities supporting our Planning team. You will be creating tools to improve end to end visibility across the supply chain, developing future network simulations and enhancing international logistics through data, predictive capabilities and process improvements. Help us answer questions like:

  • How long would it take us to get a Timber sofa from Ho Chi Minh to New York City, with visibility into each stage?
  • What does our future network look like over time at Article, with changes in global export markets and expansion of manufacturing into North America?

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop comprehensive, accurate supply chain visibility to improve order management, customer service and financial turns through data visualisation tools.
  • Identify and lead opportunities to enhance overall inventory availability to meet customer service objectives, including implementing event management capabilities, order automation and lead time optimization.
  • Enhance modelling and planning of future global supply chain network design, accounting for demand changes, new sourcing opportunities, catalog growth, warehouse capacity planning and fulfillment strategy, and incorporate into regular business planning with clear visibility of value and cost impacts.
  • Collaborate closely with Software Engineering, Operations, Merchandising, Project, and Supply Chain teams to support the delivery of successful change initiatives across the company.
  • Support regular reporting cadence including Samp;OP and deliver compelling insight to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Support ocean and customs enhancements to reduce costs for international logistics.
  • Responsible for the management and development of Supply Chain Planning Analyst team as part of a high performing team environment

Requirements

You have a breadth of knowledge and experience within Supply Chain, along with excellent data skills and the ability to execute to a high standard on your own accord.

Key areas of experience are:

  • 5+ Years Process and People Management Experience
  • Ability to think in systems and design systems
  • Experience in supply chain management in a professional environment
  • Understanding of Planning and Fulfillment strategies to execute planning excellence
  • Strong passion to exceed customer expectations for product availability and delivery execution
  • Desire to always question, not only how can we do better, but how can we do remarkably better
  • Strong ability to analyze multiple sources of data to draw comprehensive insight, with experience in simulation modelling and use of SQL considered an asset
  • Strong problem solving abilities, and excellent attention to detail
  • Leadership experience to grow and develop a data driven team
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing cross functional change across an organisation
  • Enjoys collaborating in teams with diverse experience and background, and facilitating an environment of shared success
  • Open to flexing hours to accommodate calls with our global teams as required

Nice to have:

  • Engineering or Operations Management Degree
  • Experience using Python, R or similar data modeling experience
