What You Will Be Doing

Location: Hwy 1A, 3 km east of Canmore, Alberta

  • Operate a Ready Mix truck in urban areas and tight construction sites
  • Routine equipment maintenance
  • Contribute to keeping locations in and around the plant clean and hazardous free
  • Learn our company safety protocol in order to execute work safely

Reality of the Job:

  • You might work long hours during peak times
  • You will work every Saturday during peak season
  • You will be maneuvering the trucks in sometimes very tight construction areas.
  • There will be less hours available in our non peak times


Requirements

What We Would Like From You

  • Class 1 CDL preferred, or Class 3 CDL (air brake endorsement required)
  • Residence within 75 km of Canmore or willing to commute from Calgary area (unpaid)
  • Safe Driver record
  • 3-5 years professional driving experience
  • City and narrow, environmentally sensitive country driving experience
  • The ability to drive standard transmission

Important: As a safety sensitive position, it is a condition of employment that candidates successfully pass pre-employment testing that may include a Criminal Background check, Drug and Alcohol screening, and a Fit To Work test. (Important: Drug amp; Alcohol screens are based on zero tolerance for any Cannabis derived products regardless of use frequency or purpose).

  • Concrete driving experience
  • Understanding of concrete products
