• Deploy and maintain third-party software on Windows and Linux Servers, ideally via automation
• Manage production Hyper-V and VMWare clusters, as well as Azure IaaS based VMs
• Assist in developing, deploying, and maintaining a containerization and automation strategy
• Focus on systems hardening and security
• Work with customers to gather IT requirements
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Azure Automation, LogicApps, and other serverless tooling
• Implement Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and SCCM policies
• Work on several projects in the environment, including storage management and application support
• Install and manage SAN storage units
• Develop and maintain system documentation including diagrams, checklists, and KPI reports
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and critical processes
• Manage corporate tools such as MS Teams, Office365, and other SaaS-based applications
• Manage and maintain Genetec’s backup infrastructure which includes on-prem and cloud environments
• Manage Microsoft Azure accounts (VM creation, tunnels, ADFS, AD)
• Research, evaluate and recommend software and hardware products
• Assist in implementation of many new and fast-moving technologies, including Passwordless authentication, Microsoft Modern Workplace, and containerization
• Support end-users for issues involving Systems Administrators and escalate when required
• On-call 24/7 Support as per defined scheduled
• Perform other tasks as needed

• College degree in Computer, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Windows System Administrator, including Windows 2012, and 2016
• Experience with monitoring platforms, such as Splunk and Solarwinds
• Bilingual (English and French), oral and written
• Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Enjoy teamwork and possess good interpersonal skills
• Patient and willing to find solutions to problems
• Self-learner
• Ability to adapt quickly to change
• Ability to work outside normal work hours when required

• 2+ years of Powershell scripting and/or module creation
• Knowledge of tools such as git, Chocolately, PowerShellDSC, and deployment pipelines is an asset
