Job Description

The team:

As a core member of the CRM Team within Marketing, the Marketing amp; CRM Specialist will work closely with key stakeholders across Marketing teams (Digital, Programs, Content, Product, Industry, Regional Marketing) to help evolve Genetec’s marketing lead management practice and business systems such as the CRM, Marketing Automation Platform (MAP), and more.

Reporting to the CRM Strategist in Marketing, the CRM Specialist will support Genetec’s digital transformation as it relates to lead management and the CRM. The Specialist’s responsibilities will cover the spectrum of activities related to lead management so you will have both a direct and indirect impact on Genetec’s ability to move leads to opportunities and capture the ROI of our marketing campaigns and activities. Everything you will do will accelerate our path towards full marketing attribution, the goal being to determine which channels (web, event, and email marketing), activities, and messages have the greatest impact on visitor engagement and conversion.

What your day will look like:
  • Implementing new lead management processes across the organization, documenting standards (wiki), and training colleagues at HQ and within regions to ensure alignment
  • Implementing and/or enhancing lead lifecycle stages in the CRM (Prospect gt; MQL gt; SQL)
  • Building dashboard to track CRM data and lead performance metrics such as velocity, aging, and more
  • Managing the marketing funnel and coordinating with stakeholders to improve performance
  • Collaborating with Digital Marketing to implement the same lead management standards in the Marketo marketing automation platform
  • Working closely with Digital Strategy (SEO amp; paid) to develop global lead generation KPIs and tracking
  • Ensuring a tight integration amp; synchronization of data between the CRM, Marketo, and the website so that end-to-end traceability of leads generated by the website, emails, and other campaigns
About you:

You are a marketer who naturally looks to understand what our organization is trying to achieve and look for opportunities to help get us there. Once you understand our goals and expected outcomes, you are then just as comfortable in jumping right into our various digital platforms (CRM, Marketing Automation, sales enablement) to get the job done.

Becoming our in-house expert in marketing lead and CRM management systems, processes and standards will always be your aspirational goal. And, your default approach is to collaborate with others in Sales and Marketing, and you pride yourself on your ability to influence and coach.

  • Information System (IS) or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven track record with experience in lead management, CRM deployment and/or support within a Marketing or Sales department
  • Hands-on operational experience with one or more systems: CRM, Marketing Automation, Lead Enrichment platforms
  • Theoretical, or practical, experience with the marketing funnel from awareness to lead conversion, lead lifecycle management, lead scoring
  • Understanding of CRM and/or marketing automation analytics, metrics related to lead lifecycle amp; stages (eg. lead velocity, lead aging, lead ROI)
  • Good written amp; verbal communications; English and French proficiency (spoken and written)
Great if you have:
  • Experience working for a B2B company in the technology space, either as a marketing, sales, or CRM analyst
  • Hands-on experience working with integrated CRM, marketing automation, lead enrichment, data deduplication systems
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of these specific systems:
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM for lead management
    • Marketo marketing automation for email and campaign management
    • Microsoft Power BI for developing dashboards and data analysis
    • Perfect amp; Merge deduplication amp; data cleansing solution
