The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Service Centre Rep Associate to join our Advisor Onboarding and Transition team for 6 months.

Reporting to the Manager, Onboarding, the Service Centre Rep Associate is responsible for administrative support to the internal Advisors for the MFDA and IIROC platforms and their respective clients. The Service Centre Rep Associate focuses on ensuring the advisors have an optimally segmented book of business and applies their high-level customer service skills to provide exceptional service to existing clients.

What your day looks like:

  • Respond to client inquiries and assist clients with non-financial updates including address changes, providing forms for beneficiary updates, estate settlement documentation, unlocking documentation and updating corporate account signatories.
  • Log detailed notes of all client interactions to enable effective cross-channel servicing of the client and to create a permanent record of client interactions and discussions.
  • Filing information related to internal employee Group RSP accounts
  • Work with advisors to obtain list of target clients that would be better supported by other services within Aviso.
  • Coordinate and execute mail outs or contact clients directly, based on the agreed upon approach and options.
  • Meet conversion rate targets by having persistent follow up with clients.
  • Work with advisors to ensure quick follow up with clients directly.
  • Support Service Center initiatives

Requirements

Your experience and skills:

  • Undergraduate degree is preferred with an emphasis in business or economics.
  • IFIC or CSC is a strong asset.
  • 2+ years of financial services industry administrative experience
  • Intermediate experience with the MS Suite of products including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • General investment industry knowledge and interest an asset (e.g. mutual funds (rules amp; regulations), stocks and securities, including types of accounts such as RSPs, RIFs, etc.)
  • Credit union experience is an asset.
  • Strong customer service focus and positive attitude
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking skills and time management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
