The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Vice President, Product and Managed Solutions to join the Investment Management team.

Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, the VP will focus on driving the vision and growth of the Dealer’s discretionary fee-based platforms as well as overseeing the Dealer’s product shelf.

The position is responsible for oversight of the Dealer's retail and HNW product offerings. The Managed Solution platform has industry leading growth and consists of three product solutions 1) OnPoint Pooled Investments (OPI), a HNW pooled product; 2) Credential Managed Account (CMA), the SMA product and 3) OnPoint Managed Account (OMP), a well-priced version of SMA.

This role will require visionary ideas as well as operational excellence. The VP will be responsible for driving the vision and execution of a five-year roadmap that includes Advisor Discretionary Managed Accounts as well as Unified Managed Accounts.

Furthermore the VP will be responsible for managing the Dealer's product shelf, a role that requires a deep understanding of investment product and regulatory trends in the context of Credit Union member needs for both IIROC and MFDA distribution channels.

What your day looks like:

  • Own the product roadmap by creating the vision, defining the component parts and communicating the product strategy to Aviso Wealth executive leaders, Credit Union wealth leaders, advisors and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Digitization, big data, artificial intelligence and omni-channel communication are fundamentally changing the way advisors and clients interact with wealth management firms and their product offerings. Our five-year product roadmap will need to incorporate these capabilities at a very practical level
  • Product lifecycle management from concept to launch of the products across all Managed Solution product lines. This includes the launch of Advisor Discretionary Managed Accounts and Unified Managed accounts
  • Oversee the discretionary registered PMs to ensure smooth trading of all Discretionary platforms
  • Integrating the firm’s industry-leading Responsible Investment capabilities into the Managed Solution product lines including the addition of positive and negative ESG tilts, proxy voting guidelines etc.
  • Roll out of internal managed portfolios using proprietary ESG data including setting of investment objectives, investment strategies, investment processes etc.
  • Manage the Dealer’s product shelf by monitoring key industry trends and the leading the approval process for specific investment products and solutions
