The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Manager, Financial Planning amp; Analysis to join our Finance team.
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Finance, the Manager, Financial Planning amp; Analysis is responsible to support the management of all financial activities and providing in-depth financial analysis to our Online Brokerage amp; Digital Wealth business. This role will deliver on tasks for budget and forecast preparation, financial modeling and reporting, cost amp; benefit analysis and business decision support initiatives. The Manager, Financial Planning amp; Analysis will act as a subject matter expert for integration of financial amp; KPI metrics.

What your day looks like:
- Manage the preparation and coordination of the budget and forecasting reporting amp; modeling
- Manage the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis, productionalize monthly analysis on key trends and metrics to determine risks amp; opportunities
- Work with the business partners to rationalize return on investment on initiatives through CBA, analysis on KPIs and business drivers to inform decision making in support of achieving strategic objectives
- Lead campaign level analysis in measuring marketing effectiveness against business/financial targets and alignment of targets
- Perform profitability analysis at client, account amp; partner levels to drive value-add insights
- Support the business partners during target setting process on assigning targets at channel amp; rep levels
- Analyze complex financial information to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to Director for decision making purposes
- Support the preparation of financial analysis on new business initiatives, product development and pricing decisions
- Support continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plans and modeling tools
Requirements
Your experience and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, MBA an asset
- Professional designation. (CA, CGA, CMA / CPA)
- A minimum of 5 years progressive experience in financial roles, preferably within the wealth management industry
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of data mining techniques and principles, SQL an asset
- Familiarity with enterprise planning tools to facilitate budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Strong business acumen, ability to influence and make sound recommendations as well as build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders are key success factors for this role
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple simultaneous assignments
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to present information to different audiences
- Proven ability to anticipate business needs and priorities, working with all levels of management and employees
