The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Vice President, Partnerships amp; Business Development, the Manager, Inside Sales’ mandate is to generate Direct to Consumer sales by targeting specific customers with outbound calls.

As a proven business developer your primary goal will be to leverage knowledge and insight about the Qtrade acquisition process and available education content to contact clients to support account application conversions and funding accounts.

You are a dynamic and dedicated professional who will help our clients open and fund their accounts, identify referral opportunities and deliver an extraordinary client experience.

All this will be done within the bounds of your understanding and application of industry rules and regulations (e.g. IIROC, Provincial, etc.), as well as Aviso Wealth policies and procedures to all activities performed.

What your day looks like:

  • Leveraging lead generation lists, proactively contact and build strong relationships with clients and prospects
  • Taking a proactive approach to discovering our customer needs, understanding what they are asking for and where you can be of assistance
  • Use Salesforce to track calls, emails, and to document all interactions
  • Providing the management team with feedback on lead generation activities, target lists, scripting to facilitate continuous improvement
  • Participation in regular coaching sessions with leadership to track towards stated goals while recommending program improvements as appropriate
  • On a day-to-day basis, success will be viewed as making positive connections with prospects and customers to help them open and fund their accounts
  • Success also means identifying ways to improve our processes, our scripting and how and when we contact customers to best meet their needs
  • Each lead generation list will outline desired targets/goals which will be used to further gauge success of the inside sales

Requirements

Your experience and skills:

  • Ability to work independently, working in your home office with proven time management and organizational skills
  • 5+ years related work experience in the financial services industry
  • Securities registration as an Investment Representative within the past two years is an asset, but not required
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to quickly diffuse difficult situations
  • Proficiency in completing accurate, clear, and concise documentation
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Complete familiarity with market mechanics
  • Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French is an asset
