Our Analytics team is currently searching for a talented Data Architect who will help us develop the next generation of Fluent’s technologies.   • Implement the design and implementation of database solutions
  • Analyze database implementation methods to make sure they are in line with company policies and any external regulations that may apply
  • Create the foundational layer of customer-level behavior data, advance audience understanding, and building data products
  • Responsible for monitoring the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features in cloud technologies
  • Responsible for components of Data Architecture, Data Model, and tools used
  • Direct a team of Data Engineers in software applications using agile development lifecycle and methodologies
  • Responsible for all Batch, Near Real Time, and Real Time Data integration solutions
  • Responsible for advance data solutions using various AWS cloud technologies, including SageMaker and Athena
  • Oversee AWS cost management across the Analytics team
  • Develop database design and architecture documentation for management and executive teams
  • Help maintain the integrity and security of the company database
  • Deliver scalable data solutions in a fast-paced work environment
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Applied Math/Information Systems, or Information Technology (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Extensive current working knowledge of AWS technologies including SageMaker, Athena, etc.
  • Extensive current working SQL knowledge
  • Experience in migration of legacy data into new, cloud-based technologies
  • Experience in various RDBMS and NOSQL platforms
  • Working knowledge of MySQL, SQL Server, Data Warehousing, and ETL Tools
  • Coding Knowledge (Stored procedures, Python, R, etc.)
  • Machine Learning preferred but not required
  • Ability to troubleshoot and correct system issues using database logs, connectivity tests, etc.
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to evaluate current database design and technology, recommend improvements, and influence strategy
  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
  • Clear communication skills and a strong desire to challenge the status quo
