The Publish Development Manager will be responsible for proactively researching and identifying potential affiliates across all media channels. He or she will negotiate and close deals for Fluent.

The Publisher Development Manager will be working on the management and growth of affiliate relationships, as well as assisting in the planning and execution of digital marketing initiatives for Fluent. The role will be tasked with managing daily communication with partners and internal teams, while also cultivating and identifying new opportunities to grow our business. The right candidate must be a self-motivated multitasker with strong analytical skills and knowledgeable of the digital media landscape. They should have experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow your base of publishers to meet and exceed the monthly sales targets
  • Monitor affiliate activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to optimize performance and increase affiliate-generated revenues
  • Maintain high level of communication with affiliates and recommend new campaigns for affiliates
  • Actively recruit and diversify your portfolio of publishers that specialize in promotion methods with traffic on various pricing models
  • Communicate with publishers by the method and frequency that each publisher prefers in order to identify what they need to drive more volume through our network
  • Build and maintain an intimate knowledge of industry developments to spot opportunities
  • Take part in external events and trade fairs in alignment with the defined marketing goals
  • Identify and attract new potential affiliates from different channels (social media, blogs, email, display, etc.)
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of prior experience in affiliate acquisition and affiliate marketing
    • Experience with tracking platforms (HitPath, Tune, CAKE, etc.)
    • Knowledgeable in implementing and optimizing affiliate marketing campaigns
    • Strong prospecting skills able to get creative in finding new opportunities and negotiate deals
    • In-depth history of building and fostering relationships with affiliates
