Job Description

We are looking for a Contract Junior Recruiter (4 months) who will be tasked with the day-to-day support of HR with full cycle recruitment activities. You will conduct phone and/or virtual interviews with candidates to support HR hiring needs. The position will be a 4 month position with possibility of extension.

You are responsible for supporting the company vision and mission. Because you will be in contact with company stakeholders, and you are in a strong position to influence their satisfaction and our company prosperity, this position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism.

Compensation: $16.00 Hourly.

Human Resources/Recruitment

  • Support human resources programs and policies, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and labour relations.
  • Participate in full-cycle recruitment, selecting candidates for professional position vacancies inclusive of as well as manufacturing positions as required.
  • Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with good communication skills.
  • Manage voicemail professionally. Return calls promptly.
  • Daily sourcing of qualified applicants using our ATS and LinkedIn.
  • Providing job applicants employment requirements and terms and conditions.
  • Utilizing internal and external recruiting resources and methods.
  • Support recruitment and on-boarding.
  • Posting and screening jobs and applicants.
  • Conducting any potential job fairs.
  • Advertising and organizing Ads.
  • On-boarding of successful candidates.
  • Maintain employee files and HRIS.
  • Complete special projects as required.
  • Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Support the Human Resources Department with any additional HR work.

Requirements

  • Post-Secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 months of full cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience in sourcing candidates is an asset.
  • Experience in ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed is an asset.
  • Experience with high volume recruiting in the Manufacturing/Industrial industry is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collectively with senior management.
  • Excellent communication skills, a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
