We need a detail-oriented, quality-focused Technical Architect who knows how to get things done. You’re a veteran of application development, comfortable in front of a client and ready to support a team to deliver top-notch solutions. You’re smart, and you have a list of applications delivered to prove it.
As a Technical Architect, you’ll report to one of our VP's of Technology with a defined portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for translating complex concepts and business objectives into technology solutions, providing your expertise to Technical Directors and delivery teams throughout all phases of a project.
We’re not picky about what tools, languages or frameworks you know. Our belief is that if you have the right stuff working with a new language or framework is much easier than learning how to be the kind of motivated leader who will succeed here at Klick.Of course this assumes you’re open-minded about the tools you use and more interested in the type and complexity of the problems you’ll get to solve than the tools you’ll use to solve them.Responsibilities- Creating and communicating a vision for complex technology architectures based on project-level business requirements
- Developing repeatable patterns that solve common client requirements and business problems
- Leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams through complex technology solutioning sessions
- Supporting the requirements gathering process, ensuring that documentation is clear and consistent throughout
- Problem solving and troubleshooting as challenges arise in projects or production environments
- Designing data integrations that often traverse multiple systems, platforms and organizations
- Defining and enforcing processes to improve maintainability and reliability
- Performing code reviews and providing mentorship to developers and other technical staff
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience. Academic excellence preferred.
- 8+ years industry experience in technology
- 5+ years experience as an Application Developer
- Experience architecting complex technology solutions that involve custom development and integrations with third party applications and APIs
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language such as C# or Java
- Knowledge of Node.js, React, Angular or other modern JavaScript technologies
- Knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or other cloud providers
- Knowledge of data security and privacy
- Experience with designing and querying databases
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a detail-oriented fashion without losing sight of the overall picture
Experience with any of the following is an asset:- Web frameworks such as ASP.NET
- Veeva CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Adobe Experience Cloud
- Cross-channel marketing campaigns
- Application monitoring and error tracking
- People management and mentorship
