Job PurposeThe Technical Architect is a delivery-focused and thought leadership technology role, that is responsible for translating complex concepts and business objectives into technology solutions. Scoping, planning, executional direction and ensuring reliability are key aspects of this role. By asking the right business questions, the technical architect will bridge the gaps between business stakeholders, third party vendors and technology teams. The Technical Architect reports to the Vice President of Technology and will establish themselves as a trusted advisor to clients, technology leaders and developers.Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- SME for Adobe Experience Cloud, especially Adobe Experience Manager 6.5,
- Creating and communicating a vision for complex technology architectures based on project-level business requirements
- Developing repeatable patterns that solve common client requirements and business problems
- Lead cross-functional teams through complex technology solutioning sessions
- Problem solving and troubleshooting as challenges arise in projects or production environments
- Designing complex data integrations that often traverse multiple systems, platforms and organizations
- Create processes to ensure all functional aspects of a solution are monitored to ensure all systems are operational
Required Experience and Skills
- Experience architecting complex technology projects that span custom web development and the integration of multiple 3rd party applications and platforms
- Experience with developing technology solutions leveraging cloud providers microservices (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure)
- Strong knowledge and extensive experience of creating components and templates within AEM
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript
- .NET amp; SQL development experience
- Ability to design and implement complex integrations involving a variety of APIs
- Experience with MarTech, including: Veeva, SalesForce Marketing Cloud, IBM Acoustic and Adobe Experience Cloud is considered an asset
- Ability to document technical requirements to a level of detail that would enable another developer to implement the solution described in the technical requirements
- Comfortable having technical discussions with external IT teams and vendors
- Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
- Stay up to date with current technologies and ensure solutions are built using appropriate technologies
- Implementation of analytics on web properties such as Google Analytics
- Code reviews of other developers code before merging new code into the existing codebase
