We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Lead - Digital Fabrication (Mass Timber or Façade) who will lead a team of AEC Integration Specialists and Drafters/Detailers, to execute the delivery of digital fabrication, mass timber or facade projects. The Project Lead will be responsible for leading activities focused on delivering customer projects, internal knowledge-sharing and mentoring their team. Requirements
The Project Lead - Digital Fabrication (Mass Timber or Façade) will be primarily responsible for:
- Executing project plans provided by PM help with project scope, schedule and deliverables including customer needs and expectations.
- Build preliminary project schedules with PM and maintain project schedule throughout the project lifecycle while you help them organize efforts and prioritize task required to generate project deliverables.
- Host meetings and model review sessions with customer, deliver reports to customers, help manage large projects, and assist as a point of contact for project inquiries.
- Assist with creating proposals (defining scope, estimating hours, proposing outputs, suggesting integration of cmBuilder where appropriate).
- Provide updates to PM’s and host team meetings to showcase weekly accomplishments and identify areas of improvement.
- Leading the core team to ensure that you are the first point of contact for all employee construction/modeling related inquiries, employee training and that you are helping them develop their own skills.
- Regular project check-ins with team members, ensuring they are conforming to company best practices, understand applicable construction and 3DX processes such as modeling techniques, tool usage/project automation.
- Discuss core team workload challenges with PM to determine project requirements are being met.
- Process improvements -recognizing potential improvements and escalating it to PM’s.
- May be asked to interview new candidates for AECIS and Drafter/Detailer roles.
- Other responsibilities as discussed with Project Manager to meet team objectives and for continuous development.

Business Development - Sales
- Provide input to PM when estimating hours for proposals.
- Help PM to describe possible scope of work for proposals.
Marketing
- Develop customer relationships.
- Take initiative in every opportunity to demonstrate our value to the customer (site superintendent to developer).
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- 12-18 months experience as an AECIS
- Experience modeling multiple Mass Timber or Façade projects
- Advanced knowledge of Mass Timber or Façade Systems and using existing Automation tools for this purpose
- Working knowledge of Mass Timber or Façade fabrication workflow
