Job Description

We’re looking for a Business Analyst with experience in process improvement to help our Quality amp; Compliance team run remarkably better.

Who is the Quality amp; Compliance team team? Our team sets the framework and standards for our furniture quality and compliance at Article. We work closely with our sourcing partners in the field to provide support and training on how to ensure our products meet Article standards. We also conduct analysis on product performance to identify opportunities for improvement, and we coordinate with internal stakeholders in the event of a large scale product issue.


As a Business Analyst you will work on a wide range of lead process improvements, using your skills from gathering requirements, documenting current state, collaborating on changes with cross-functional partners, defining SOPs, leading training and coordinating projects.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead process improvements within quality amp; compliance team, and broader supply chain team
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, gather stakeholder feedback, and lead new initiatives and projects
  • Creating clear training materials, and process documentation
  • Conduct with training with relevant teams on roll-out of new processes
  • Coordinate with relevant teams in the event of a product quarantine
  • Operational support for large scale projects led by other team members as required
  • Based on support request trends, work on small projects with relevant stakeholders to to stop customer inquiries from occurring in the first place

Requirements

post-secondary

  • 5+ years of business analysis, operations and/or project experience
  • Typically a post secondary education, in business, software or engineering, MBA would be a plus
  • Previous supply chain or retail experience
  • Lean/ Continuous Improvement knowledge and experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse multi-functional teams
  • Proven ability to create meaningful change with process improvements that focus on scalability and efficiency
  • Able to create simple and digestible SOPs
  • Putting the customer at the heart of all decisions and actions
  • Desire to always question, not only how can we do better, but how can we do remarkably better
  • Flexible working hours to accommodate multiple time zones
  • Strong sense of initiative and sense bias for action
