As ATB’s next Director, EFS Strategic Execution, you are a proven leader, who is disciplined and methodical in their approach. You are execution minded, thorough in assessing the outcomes we need to achieve and are driven towards action.

As part of the Operations amp; Strategic Initiatives leadership team, you will lead Everyday Financial Services (EFS) team members responsible for working with partners across the organization to integrate enterprise wide initiatives into EFS. Through these initiatives you and your team will leverage a deep expertise of EFS, its team members, customers and business processes to establish and translate requirements, identify opportunities for improvement and ensure EFS is positioned for success and able to leverage the intended value of the solutions being developed.

You will further utilize you and your teams extensive connections and knowledge to identify opportunities to advance EFS’s objectives, as well as be a main point of contact and lead in addressing operational issues, such as outages, remediations, regulatory changes, etc.


Director, EFS Strategic Execution Accountabilities:

  • Act as a key resource and leader for enterprise wide initiatives such as projects being deployed from Customer Experience, Technology Enablement or other business units.
  • Develop strong partnerships across EFS and a deep understanding of its strategy and different delivery channels, including branches, agencies and contact centre.
  • Lead a high performing, collaborative, team that supports the design, development and implementation of EFS strategies.
  • Create and integrate internal processes, tools and resources for ATB team members to provide exceptional experiences to our customers.
  • Responsible for leading and solutioning various operational issues, such as outages, regulatory changes and audit findings.

Requirements

As the ideal candidate you possess:

  • University degree preferably in Business or related field.
  • 8 - 10 years of experience in the financial services or related industry.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Certification in project management, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma an asset.
  • Knows the retail business and has impeccable business judgement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts and team members.
  • Comfortable with presenting to and facilitating discussion with senior business leaders and skilled at building consensus cross-functionally.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
  • Practiced in driving collaboration among key stakeholders, asking the difficult questions and driving to great answers.
  • Proven ability to effectively lead change.
  • Proven analytical skills in order to assess results against objectives and validate that you’re making a difference. And the ability to identify insights and drive business strategy.
