Under the leadership of the Head, Come to Work and Impact Evaluation, this position will build the resources necessary to grow and expand the Come to Work program to be national in scope and relevant to all Canadians with sight loss seeking meaningful employment. This position will help us launch comprehensive and meaningful efforts which will aim to change the lives of Canadians who are blind or partially sighted.
Your impact at CNIB
- Developing, executing, and evaluating CNIB Foundation’s Come to Work programs for people who are blind or partially sighted throughout Canada
- Targeted development of Talent Pool in Quebec, measuring progression through Stages of Readiness (Stage 1 through 5).
- Work with employment organizations to establish a strategy for integrating vision loss accommodations in their work to encourage more employers to participate in the Come to Work Program
- Lead by example in bringing our values to life pushing your volunteers and colleagues with passion, determination, ambition and a positive spirit to change people’s lives, and society itself
Requirements
Who you are
- A strong communicator (written and oral) with proven time management and organization skills; amenable to changing priorities, deadlines, and procedures
- Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Proficiency/working knowledge of Salesforce an asset
- Customer service oriented with well-developed interpersonal skills
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
- Written and oral fluency in French and English
- 1-3 years in a managerial or coordinator role
- 3-5 years of experience in program development and delivery within a charity/not-for-profit organization
- Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and sight loss is considered an asset
- Personal or professional experience working with assistive technology and/or accessible environments is considered an asset
