FutureSight is seeking an experienced Vice President of Corporate Development who is driven to source, analyze and acquire disruptive and lucrative SaaS businesses that complement our business portfolio.

FutureSight builds, funds and acquires B2B SaaS companies solving the critical challenges of mid-market businesses. We have over 80 years of experience delivering commercial software products and operate with a venture studio model optimized for sourcing and validating business ideas, creating companies, and providing the supporting financial and human resources to incubate and scale new companies.
Requirements
Core Responsibilities:
- Partner with growth team in evaluating companies for acquisition
- Build 5-year investment models including financial projections of standalone target companies, cost and revenue synergies, amp; valuation sensitivities
- Make recommendations on deal structure and transaction terms
- You will develop and present the acquisition thesis to the investment review committee
- Collaborate with venture team to build efficiencies in the deal sourcing and acquisition process
- Capacity to develop leadership capabilities of team members
- As you research companies, perform diligence on companies, products, and customers, you will assist in creating executive presentations laying out strategic value of acquisitions and assist with due diligence and integration, always measuring the results against initial models
Skills you'll need:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience; from investment banking, private equity or corporate development; entrepreneurial experience is a strong plus
- Deep understanding of software companies
- A bias toward action: preferring to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
- A track record of taking ownership over projects and helping them succeed: you make solid judgments, have good intuition and reach decisions quickly
- A sharp analytical mind: all your decisions are data-driven and supported by the data and research you've collected
- Comfortable with advanced quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting on results
- Highly collaborative and have experience leading and working with cross-functional teams to execute transactions from research through integration
- Excellent presentation/communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analyses into executive-level insights and recommendations
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work under minimal supervision

Compensation in our Co-Founder / Vice President of Corporate Develop role is a mix of cash and equity opportunity but is biased heavily towards equity.
