We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Machine Operator. This role is based out of our London plant, and reports to the Production Supervisor.

London is looking for Machine Operator’s for all shifts, responsible for ensuring the products manufactured are of the highest quality while following production, health and safety practices and methods as instructed by Shift Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure products meets IPEX quality standard before packing, inspect parts produced for visual defects and highlight any quality related issues.
  • Apply correct label (s) and operator stickers to all finished goods packaging.
  • Ensure scrap parts are tracked
  • Ensure all equipment, tools and fixtures used are safe and in good working condition
  • Work with Material Handler for requests related to assembly supplies and boxes.
  • Follow approved Ergonomic controls and process improvement initiative.
  • Load boxes onto skid appropriately per the standard skid configurations required by varied product.
  • Active participation in IPEX 5-S program.
  • Continuous participation in all facility waste management program and environmentally related training
  • Assist in other production related functions as requested such as training of new employee, employee meetings etc.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School completion or greater is required.
  • 2 + years in a previous manufacturing environment is preferred, plastic experience is a strong asset.
  • Successful candidates must pass both math and English evaluations.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced in environment.
