About Us

Who we are, what we do amp; why we do it

We are Dext. Our suite of tools makes accountants more productive, profitable and powerful. In doing so we give them back the most precious commodity, time, which they can then use to add greater value to their clients.

Accountants and bookkeepers are the backbone of every successful business. For more than a decade we’ve empowered our partners with innovative technology solutions to make businesses better. Dext allows them to meet the challenges they face today, tomorrow and in the future.

The role - what you’ll do:

  • Introduce new, additional and premium products to your account portfolio, establishing their needs and pain-points to provide solutions
  • Use our passive account management (PAM) tools and your market awareness to prospect and forecast selling opportunity
  • Increase monthly recurring revenue and average invoice value via cross and up-sell activity
  • Develop strong relationships with decision makers and key stakeholders, working alongside colleagues to ensure a seamless buying and deployment process
  • Develop a successful buyer journey, supporting and creating a positive experience for your customers, mitigating contraction churn and cancellation

About you (what we are looking for):

  • Highly developed communication skills and a positive demeanour
  • Demonstrable previous success in a B2B sales role, predominantly liaising with customers over the phone
  • Proven ability to consistently exceed sales targets
  • Can build and manage relationships with key stakeholders and strategic partners at all levels
  • A consultative, process driven and persistent approach with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the accounting and bookkeeping industry (preferred)
  • Bilingual (ideally)

These are our ideal requirements, but we hire on potential, not just on experience, and we know that some people are less likely to apply for a role if they don’t meet 100% of the criteria. At Dext we are committed to cultivating a diverse, inclusive and empowering culture, so please apply if you meet the majority of these competencies.

  • Comprehensive benefits
  • Flexible work environment
  • Great community with build your career - regular team events, end-of-quarter learning days, coaching
