-This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a variety of copywriting skills and the ability to easily context switch tone-of-voice when jumping between our two brand identities.

-A great work ethic and high degree of responsiveness.

-You understand funnels and write audience / funnel / brand appropriate copy across email, social, ads, products, portals, landing pages, briefs, campaigns, and other digital and eCommerce mediums.

-Results driven and data-minded. You know how to grab attention, build loyalty and trust, and generate purchase intent through your words.

-You’ve written eCommerce copy for Email and Social channels, and you’ve had experience analyzing and interpreting results (impressions, shares, open rates, click through rates, revenue per recipient etc.)

-You know why A/B testing is so important and you have years of experience testing variations of your copy and analyzing the results from customer data. You’ve seen it all and you know how to consistently produce winning variations that identify winning conventions you can build on.

-You are experienced with testing your copy and analyzing analytics in a direct to consumer eCommerce environment; you regularly discover surprising and dramatic insights from the data. (which you leverage to produce more results)

-Ability to write attention grabbing headlines, engaging content, and irresistible call to actions,

-Ability to sell our brand and products using both content and conversion focused copy techniques.

-Ability to engage people in a sensitive industry (sexual wellness).

-You are curious and want to learn. You’re ready to do the research (into our brand, products, categories, customers, channels, audiences etc.)

JOB DETAILS
************************

This role reports to Tayla, our Associate Creative Director. In this role you are an exceptionally talented and creative Copywriter who will have ownership of our consumer-facing brand voice across our website, social, and emails and through advertising.

The work is wide and varied, split evenly across two separate eCommerce brands (Pleasures and One amp; Body).

At times you’ll be writing elevated copy, with a high degree of care and sensitivity to our brand mission and voice. You’ll write content, posts, education, emails, descriptions and more that stays within the One amp; Body tone of voice (but isn’t boring!)

Other times you’ll be our conversion copywriter helping our marketing team write winning ads that out compete the competition! Our task is typically writing highly engaging, witty and emotional headlines, descriptions and CTAs that SELL our product. You’ll have to quickly dive into the customer segment psychology, sift through data bases of customer intent to extract insight and golden ad copy headlines, taglines, calls to action, and emotional words that drive action

The ideal candidate must be highly organized, extremely responsive, and have the ability to execute ASAP for several weeks without losing their creative steam.

QUALIFICATIONS
************************

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a major in one or more of the following fields: advertising, literary studies, writing, journalism, cultural studies, media studies, copywriting
• A promising portfolio that includes conceptual ideas and executions, as well as long-form and concise copy samples
• Experience working in eCommerce and a Creative Department will be highly regarded
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills; particularly in the context of digital communications
• Ideally, a deep knowledge of and passion for human wellness and sexuality.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with Designers, Product Managers and Marketers.
• An awareness of cultural sensitivities in the industry in which One amp; Body operates
