Responsibilities:

• Conduct Preventative Maintenance on all Plant Equipment as per schedule, completing all relative paperwork.
• Respond to all mechanical issues that may arise on the production floor.
• Work closely with all departments to deliver positive results.
• Assembly of machinery amp; equipment prior to installation utilizing hand amp; power tools and welding equipment
• Competently amp; safely utilize all tools for the efficient overhaul, maintenance or set up of Company assets.
• Operate lifting devices as required.
• Utilize scissor lifts amp; genie boom as needed.

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Certification, in good standing, of an Ontario Provincial Trade Qualification as a Millwright (Red Seal).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills both written amp; verbal.
• Above average inter personnel skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Excellent history with regards to Health amp; Safety.
• Experience in plastics and/or Injection Molding would be a definite asset.
• Experience working in a Unionized Environment is not a requirement but may be an asset.

Working Conditions:

• May require extended periods of sitting, standing, lifting, bending or kneeling.
• Excellent manual dexterity. Ability to lift amp; carry up to 50 lbs.
• Plant working environment will fluctuate with the seasons.
• Must wear PPE at all times.
