The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our IT team.
Reporting to the Director, IT Systems the Business Systems Analyst is the conduit between Aviso Business Units and key business system service providers, in particular Broadridge Financial Solutions.

What your day looks like:
- Review Dataphile application releases and work with IT and Aviso Business units on these releases
- Manage day to day issues from Aviso Business Units with respect to the Dataphile Application
- Manage HLEs, DMRs and any special projects (including conversions) relating to the Dataphile Application
- Address regulatory, risk and audit requirement issues
- Responsible for managing Broadridge’s online BR Track Application
- Working Relationships are project specific, but generally deals with all department heads and business unit owners. External vendors that rely on Dataphile data
- Responsible for the User profile configuration for the Dataphile Application closely working with Aviso System Support
- Responsible for managing all configurations for the Dataphile Application
- Works with third party vendors with respect to data coming from the Dataphile Application
- Success is measured by the percentage of projects delivered within delivery time and budget along with the number of projects and activities completed within the year and the success of these projects, including staff engagement
Requirements
Your experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
- 5 years in financial services including brokerage operations and trading
- 3 years working knowledge using Dataphile application
- 3 years working knowledge of the brokerage system
- Software: MS Office suite, MS Visio, SQL/Oracle database query
- Working knowledge of project management tools including Confluence, JIRA amp; SmartSheet
- Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
