Mainstreet Credit Union (Mainstreet or the Credit Union) is a financial non-profit co-op that is committed to investing in its members. Chief Executive Officer
With the retirement of the current President and CEO, there exists an opportunity for an accomplished financial services leader to lead the continued evolution of strong customer service and values to members that has led to Mainstreet’s positive reputation. The role will appeal to a high energy, team-oriented, and client-centric leader who is passionate about providing personalized financial services to the community.
Reporting to the Board, the President and CEO has overall responsibility for managing the operations of a full service, multibranch credit union and will be accountable for the operations and financial management of the credit union. The President and CEO is also responsible for the implementation and management of strategies necessary to attain the goals and objectives of the credit union as established by the Board and member shareholders and in accordance with the Act and Credit Union By-Laws. The President and CEO provides leadership; effectively integrating and coordinating the functions of the credit union and liaises with members and applicable organizations. They are responsible for the allocation of resources within budget guidelines, for achieving results and for monitoring and reporting activities and progress
Requirements
Mainstreet is seeking a dynamic leader with advanced knowledge of credit union financial analysis, budgeting design, member credit and strategic planning. You are a customer service-oriented leader who enjoys engaging with members and advancing strong board relations. You have a solid understanding of digital technology and its relevance in financial services. As the public face the new President and CEO will be comfortable demonstrating commitment, involvement and engagement within the community.
The incoming President and CEO should have the leadership capability, tenure and experience to lead through a period of turbulence and change. During this period of transformation, relationship building, and communication will be instrumental in maintaining positive internal and external relationships.
