As ATB’s next Personal Banking Specialist II, your purpose is to build relationships with new and existing customers by having conversations to fully understand their needs, and connecting them with the right solutions to help them reach their goals. You elevate the customer experience by introducing them to partners, and educating them on our mobile and online resources. In addition, you tailor your advice and solutions to meet customers' unique and diverse needs, and fully bank them with ATB.
Requirements
Personal Banking Specialist Accountabilities:
- You meet with customers to understand their priorities, advise them on solutions, and provide a forward-looking financial plan.
- You take time to ensure clients understand their accounts, products, and other information you have provided in relation to their situation.
- You provide the customer with access to self service options, set them up on digital platforms whenever possible, and serve them through the channel of their choice.
- You keep your commitments with customers, and set clear priorities and realistic timeframes that are consistent with work requirements.
- You are able to translate annual business targets and metrics into actionable activities and routines.
- You make appropriate decisions, understanding the impact of costs and benefits to your customer and ATB, and manage your customers like your own business.
- You support and assist in the daily operation, administration and team activities of the branch.
- You continually share your knowledge and experience with your team and peers to help build adaptability, proficiency, and resilience.
- You assist with and lead programs and initiatives that improve ATB’s presence and reputation within the community, and drive team results.
- You are an expert in the features and benefits of ATB products and solutions, including land secured lending capability.

- You have expert knowledge of banking practices and regulations.
Accreditation:
- Land-secured lending capability
- Post Secondary degree/diploma in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience and/or certification in a related field of study.
- 5+ years of customer service experience
- Business banking experience is an asset for this role.
