Investors Relations Manager

Taiga is a rapidly scaling off-road electric vehicle technology and manufacturing company seeking a well-versed and passionate Investor Relations Manager, to be our company spokesperson to the investor community. The Investor Relations Manager will work very closely with many external parties on coordinated IVR events. Handle the careful dissemination of investor information via the appropriate channels and always in a legally compliant manner. This role is a key driver to the IVR team staying on schedule with the cadence of planned and unplanned activities. This role strategically positions and markets Taiga to its current and potential investors and addresses any shareholder concerns or competitor actions that might impact Taiga.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key point of contact with investment community in responding to inquiries from the buy and sell side. Articulate Taiga’s mission, strategies, financial and operational results, and business amp; strategic vision. Communicate feedback and perceptions to the VP/IR team and management as appropriate.
• Prepare IR materials, including reports, presentations, news releases, and companies’ materials for investors meetings and events, as well as for quarterly earnings release. Interact with internal teams to obtain data and content.
• Develop and manage investor targeting programs. Advise senior management on expected investment community reaction to various strategic decisions and current market perceptions of the company.
• Grow and establish the IR team in tandem with business needs.
• Track and understand sell-side analyst models and earnings estimates. Proactively seek new sell-side analyst coverage and expand institutional investor relationships.
• Contribute to the planning and management of investor events (conferences, road shows, investor meetings), investor presentations, briefing materials, press releases, fact sheets, etc.
• Contribute to process of evaluating and approving product, business, and operations stats to be shared externally.
• Manage the Taiga IR website to ensure timely and effective dissemination of key disclosures. Identify opportunities to enhance external investor resources.
• Establish ESG/Corporate Governance initiatives. Manage and collaborate with internal teams to understand and highlight progress on key issues to external stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on industry and peer company information and practices by tracking research reports, news, earnings calls and other relevant resources.
• Develop strong relationships and collaborate effectively with key internal stakeholders.
• Identify and communicate strategic and tactical ideas for the continuous improvement of the IR program.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing investor relations.
• Strong track record of creating strong and lasting relationships with the investor community
• Capability to effectively communicate to and coordinate with all levels and functions
• Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry
• Intimately familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
• Team-oriented and willing to "role up the sleeves" to ensure successful execution
• Strong decision-making orientation and ability
• Has superb written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to draft engaging and impactful messages for inspiring employees and investors
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting (MBA is a plus)
