Vention is hiring our very first cyber security expert. Reporting to the CTO, you will be leading aspects of vulnerability assessment, inter-system infrastructure, protocol selection, coding best practices, active monitoring and pen testing. You will be required to demonstrate strong technical abilities, judgment, experience and willingness. More specifically you will:
- Maintain a prioritized security roadmap with the CTO
- Help manage access rights to systems (across users, employees and other systems)
- Conduct pen testing and active surveillance of key systems
- Manage and help implement resulting work items
- Train the development team and promote defensive programming
- Set up and conduct education programs adapted to other categories of employees
- Help select cyber-security protocols for new developments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ year Experience in IT or Networking, including at least 3+ years with primary focus in Cyber Security
- Good knowledge of cryptography and security best practices
- Mastery of at least two programming languages
- Solid understanding of web applications development and deployment
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks to complete within established time frames
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision; self-motivated, meets tight deadlines
