Job Description:

We are looking to hire a Recruitment Consultant to work in partnership with us and a number of our clients, functioning as an "Internal" Recruiter for our clients. We are located primarily in Vancouver, however, our team is 100% fully remote. The role would have the option for flexible hours for someone who requires it.

We envision this role to be a 360 role of recruitment and sales. You will be inheriting an existing book of business as well as developing your own.

Role Split:

60% Recruitment /40% sales

Key activities include:

Recruitment:

  • Understanding of the full recruitment life cycle from Talent Mapping and Management through to onboarding for a number of SMB's/Scaleups
  • Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand job requirements and grasp quickly what is needed to successfully fulfil the role!
  • Produce job descriptions
  • Develops recruiting materials and strategies that ensure a successful search and be confident to train clients on these.
  • Responsible for full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, applicant testing, interviewing, detailed reference checking, presenting, and closing qualified candidates all through varying ATS systems. (We use workable - our clients use other ones!)
  • Educate, manage and coordinate communication with hiring managers, recruiters and candidates
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience and represent the company with integrity and professionalism
  • Passionately drive results, think and act quickly and operate in the best interest of the company objectives
  • Stay connected to the competitive landscape, including trends in tech recruiting and compensation

Sales:

  • Identifying and enrolling new clients to BLANKSLATE partners through your existing network and sales activities such as networking, cold calling and however else you prefer to meet clients!
  • Acting as the primary point of contact between BLANKSLATE Partners and clients for ongoing communications and strategic planning and account management
  • Understanding clients HR needs and Identifying and road mapping solutions to achieving increased success for clients
  • Continually educating customers of the entire BLANKSLATE Partners offering and new developments
  • Creating and implementing a recurring process to streamline recurring activities
  • Managing client’s expectations, the scope of work and work packages through to completion
  • Managing internal partnerships and resources to client meet deadlines



Requirements

  • 5-7 years of recruitment client services and/or business consulting
  • Agency or professional services experience considered an asset (Previous experience working in an agency as a Recruiter or Independent HR consultant with a passion for recruitment)
  • A bonus would be technical recruitment experience, basic knowledge of IT terminology and concepts, and the willingness to continue to learn about the latest technologies would be a significant benefit.
  • Great communication skills both in talking with others professionally (on the phone and in person), and in basic business writing such as letters, job postings, marketing materials, etc.
  • Ability to proactively recruit candidates (i.e. proactive headhunting, attending local user group meetings, etc)
  • A strong understanding of employee brand development
  • An understanding of talent mapping and talent management
  • A desire to meet goals and be the best.
  • A completed Bachelor’s degree.
