Job Description

The Quality program at CadMakers, which will be responsible for identifying, eliminating, and measuring the sources of error that lead to less-than-perfect deliverables, is looking to fill its first Quality Lead position!

The Quality Lead position will have the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Quality to identify quality-related issues company-wide, and strategize solutions to systematically eliminate them. Quality initiatives will be identified as a team and the Quality Lead will be tasked with executing and implementing these initiatives.

This Quality Lead position requires approximately 50% of the successful teammate’s time to execute quality initiatives, and the remaining 50% of their time to continue to work on projects.

Requirements

The Quality Lead will be primarily responsible for:

  • Establishing deliverables’ QA/QC standards to be used on digital construction / fabrication projects;
  • Developing processes and procedures to ensure the digital construction/fabrication projects are delivered with consistent quality that meet the company’s and the department’s standards and our customers’ expectations;
  • Developing processes and systems to identify and mitigate risks on digital construction/fabrication projects throughout the life cycle;
  • Mentoring and coaching our project teams, including Project Managers, Project Leads and our QA/QC teammates at the project level on the best practices for their projects to ensure deliverables meet our QA/QC standards;
  • Developing and maintaining checklists for varying types of deliverables and ensure they are used consistently company-wide;
  • Monitoring, reporting and advocating the use of QA/QC standard processes and procedures at the project level;
  • Developing and maintaining Deliverable Sample Library to be referenced on projects or to be used by the Enterprise Knowledge and sales and marketing team;
  • Collaborating with our Enterprise Knowledge team to ensure the latest Quality Management and QA/QC processes, procedures and standards are referenced and integrated during onboarding, training and continuing professional development; and
  • Initiating other quality-driven projects, as opportunities arise to do so.



Minimum Requirements

  • 12 months minimum experience with CadMakers
  • Results-driven teammate
  • Always performing work at high standards, not taking shortcuts that hinder quality
  • Proficient time management skills and a high focus on efficiency
  • Great communication skills, ability to efficiently communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Passionate about process improvements
  • Familiar with CadMakers’ internal processes on a wide variety of project types
