What you will be doing:

We’re looking for an exceptional, experienced Website Strategy Manager to lead our Web Growth Team.

As the Website Strategy Manager, you will own the vision for Later’s web properties and testing strategy. You will also be responsible for its overall performance from both an optimization and tracking standpoint.

This role will be a part of a cross-functional team aimed at optimizing performance throughout the funnel. Later’s revenue is entirely web based; as the Web Strategy Manager you will be a key member in improving the experience for millions of visitors and 3 million users (including some of the worlds top brands like Patagonia, GQ, and the Wall Street Journal).


Responsibilities:
  • Lead the growth and development of Later’s website to ensure a seamless experience for prospects and existing customers on both web and mobile
  • Optimize Later’s site navigation to ensure a high-quality experience for all web traffic
  • Manage and continue to build out a full-stack web team to achieve your objectives
  • Lead bi-weekly sprints and ensure the team has a well prepared roadmap of experiments and defined work
  • Manage and prioritize requests from internal stakeholders (Customer Success, Partners, Content Marketing, and more)
  • Own the A/B testing strategy and experimentation roadmap for all of Later’s web properties
  • Align with the company’s positioning strategy to tell an evolving story across our web properties
  • Support the SEO strategy for Later’s website and blog
  • Collaborate with the paid acquisition team to build and optimize landing pages to help improve conversion rates


What we're looking for:
  • 5+ years experience in a growth/performance web strategy role
  • 2+ years managing and leading a team
  • Proven program management skills from having lead successful cross-functional projects
  • Experience leading experimentation roadmaps and improving conversion rates
  • Knowledge of web tracking and attribution
  • Proven expertise in UI/UX Design, A/B testing
  • In-depth experience with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Experience using exploratory data tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel
  • Experience with Heat mapping software (Hotjar, Crazy Egg) and testing software (Google Optimize, Optimizely)

  • Comfortable with Google Sheets and Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Working Locations:

People amp; Places (HR), Product, and Development roles are based out of our Vancouver headquarters. If you are not located in Vancouver, but interested in relocating for the role let us know!

Whereas, roles on our Marketing and Customer Experience teams are open to remote candidates based out of Toronto and London, UK, in addition to working out of our Vancouver headquarters.
