Schedule: Morning shift only.

What you will be doing: We are looking for individuals with experience in coordinating inventory activities such as viewing and understanding purchase orders (POs), entering data in an ERP/SAP system, ensuring FIFO rotation and other related tasks. As a receiving coordinator, you will need to utilize your communication and leadership skills to ensure the work gets done in a timely manner.

Here are the responsibilities of this role:

  • Record all inventory changes periodically and report the data to supervisor;
  • In charge of labelling raw materials to include name of ingredient, received date, best before date and any other date relevant to the inventory management;
  • In charge of flagging ingredients that are in inventory for too long without turning over;
  • Help sourcing team update sourcing intelligence (product formats, etc)
  • Help ensure that all food and packaging (in the production room storage areas) are well organized at all times;
  • Help ensure FIFO (first in first out) rotation throughout the facility;
  • Help Receiving Team organize the raw materials storage areas as necessary, by moving products in original packaging as well as products in storage bins;
  • Ensure that all items stored are stored properly according to the guidelines for maintaining product quality and food safety;
  • Record inventory of products periodically (and confirm their quality) at different times during the day;
  • Identify any spoiled products stored in inventory and bring to the attention of supervisor;
  • Promptly communicate significant inventory changes to all departments;
  • Help on receiving duties as necessary;
  • Make sure all the PO’s were registered in ERP system and G sheet;
  • Make sure all the open order’s were fully communicate with concerned department;
  • Follow up with sourcing department and make sure all the traces were resolve during the shift;

Requirements and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • At least 6 months experience in a similar role;
  • Experience leading or coaching a team;
  • Valid driver’s forklift license - stand up;
  • Attention to detail and to the customer;
  • Strong communication skills and sense of responsibility;
  • Strong organizational skills, problem solving ability;
  • Ability to lift from 50 pounds repetitively during shift;
  • A willingness to work in a cold workplace (0 to +4 degrees).
