The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining major SCM related systems. This position will also be responsible for data analysis and accuracy checks to support Weekly SCM operation such as KPI, Channel information and Demand Forecasts, as well as reporting functions and providing data analysis for process innovation related projects.
Role and Responsibilities
(50%) GSCM system administration and master maintenance
The ultimate goal of GSCM is to optimize the flow of products, information, and cash, by providing visibility and accurate delivery promises to customers, by curtailing the lead time of all processes on the supply chain.
User registration
Hierarchy management: Customer Master, Site Mater, BOD, Product Master, Channel Master etc.
Communication with head quarter for trouble shoot
Financial Target Plan Master Set-up (Monthly )in GSCM
Data Verification : Chanel information, Demand Forecast, PSI, all related data in GSCM
KPI monitoring, analysis and action plan set-up with cooperation with Division SCM
Major SCM KPI Analysis and summary
Aging Inventory status monitoring and action plan gathering from Division SCM
Reporting major SCM process
Aging Inventory Report
Weekly RTF Performance
Weekly KPI performance
Weekly Channel WOS
Daily Sales Progress
Order and Inventory Risk Report
Weekly SCM Status Report
GPPM update and Check point / Status update for Audit process
(50%) SCM Project Management
Responsible for diagnosis of operational / process issues, determine improvement points for sales, logistics and operations teams and drive these projects through to completion via classical project management and new agile methodology. This position will be responsible to develop and execute the project plan in order to support Samsung Electronics Sales divisions and their Support divisions within a matrix organization: Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain (SCM)/Retail Management, Logistics, Finance and Service.
Responsible for the development and management of new Process Innovation Projects related to operations optimization and process efficiency
Ensures execution of projects developed and Demonstrate advanced interpersonal skills to engage with peers, customers, and senior management
Responsible for the adoption and coordination of new operational process or system changes ensuring alignment to HQ guidelines
Responsible to establish timelines, ownership, key milestones and to follow-up with stakeholders on all deliverables
Responsible to resolve escalations through interaction with all levels within Sales and Marketing, SCM, Logistics, BOC, Finance and Service to ensure that needs are identified and immediate resolution found for critical SCM operational barriers
Assessing potential set of solutions and making recommendations
Training and Testing for new Process or functional system delivered by project
Data and Work flow Analysis
Review and Coordinate the updates of new policies and procedures in GPPM
Responsible to present ideas and concepts in addition to gaining consensus from all levels of the organization
Project documentation, management, and progress report per request
Support Data Analysis – Data accuracy check and provide analysis related to PI projects
Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge:
Bilingual in English and Korean is required
Knowledge of ERP such as SAP (LE, SD, FI, or CO Modules)
Knowledge of EDI and Business Systems an asset
Advanced in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Outlook),
Knowledge of BI Tools suite an asset (Strong Excel VBA, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI)
Knowledge of supply chain process and retail channel within electronics industry
Strong data analysis, analytical skills; statistics and mathematics background an asset
The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels within the organization and outside the company.
The ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
The ability to work in a team environment to identify and achieve team project goals and results, including the completion of assignments within established timeframes.
Experience:
2-3+ years Advanced Project Management experience (PMP, Agile)
1+ years experience working with SAP (LE, SD, FI, or CO Modules)
3+ years of work related experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics
Business Analysis (Exposure to Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt)
