Due to COVID-19 Guidelines, this role is 100% remote/work from home until we can safely return to the office.

Overview

The Customer Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams to strengthen and build relationships with PatSnap customers. This will include, identifying and recruiting top-tier customer advocates and references, fostering strategic relationships with customers for various organizational initiatives, promoting customer successes to influence strategic sales opportunities and enhance PatSnap brand loyalty and keeping customers up-to-date with PatSnap events and initiatives through customer-centric communications.

What you'll be doing

  • You will identify and secure PatSnap customers as advocates to participate in sales, marketing, and public relations activities in order to showcase innovative and noteworthy uses of PatSnap solutions, outlining the business benefits and outcomes that are generated.
  • You will create a consistent and stable pipeline of references in support of sales, marketing, launches and global communications efforts.
  • You will proactively schedule and conduct professional interviews with customers to document their implementation, create written record of interview, and input customer data into customer reference database.
  • You will maintain in-depth customer profiles and contacts; manage reference request fulfillment, and track reference activity and results.
  • You will collaborate with sales and executives in managing local Advisory Board meetings and customer visits.
  • You will work with the creative team to create compelling and engaging customer-centric digital content (case studies, video testimonials, info graphics, blogs, slides, customer evidence) and for PatSnap’s engagement platforms (web, social, community).
  • You craft compelling communications to engage customers in PatSnap initiatives and events.
  • You will work closely with overlay sales teams, solutions and product groups, product marketing, PR and content teams
  • You will ensure the brand is represented accurately and messaging is appropriate in all reference materials.
  • You will ensure geographic participation and increase program adoption and visibility across North America and Europe.

Requirements

  • You demonstrate strong customer marketing experience including marketing programs, customer references, events and sales enablement.
  • You have experience developing and managing B2B customer marketing campaigns
  • You have a strong background and/or understanding of IP, Ramp;D or business intelligence
  • You have strong project and program management skills; experience in prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • You demonstrate strong interviewing skills and excellent storytelling skills the ability to extract key nuggets from customer stories to show business impact in a compelling way.
  • You have experience in managing a marketing budget.
  • You have experience with market research.
  • You have excellent writing skills.
