BIM/REVIT Drafter

As the BIM/REVIT Drafter, you will be providing support to the BIM team by generating Architectural amp; Structural drawings packages using the Revit software.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Model projects and prepare Architectural and Structural drawing packages using REVIT for single family homes;
- Provide support for BIM and Engineering Team specially in 2D drafting work and sheet sets;
- Review and verify design concepts and sketches to conform to code and by-law specifications;
- Coordinate plans and models between multiple disciplines (Architecture, Engineering, estimations, etc.);
- Perform other drawings revisions as required;
- Other duties relevant to the position, as assigned.
- A degree or diploma in Architectural, Structural Engineering, or Building Technology;
- 2-5 years of Drafting or Architectural/Structural Engineering experience.
- Excellent REVIT and AutoCAD drafting skills;
- Technical knowledge of building systems, construction methods and materials with an emphasis on Single Family Residential;
- Familiar with MS software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
- Ability to understand and create CAD detail as required;
- Fluent in English, written and spoken. French is an asset;
- Knowledge of the National Building Code and city requirements;
REQUIREMENTS
