THE ROLE

We are looking for an energetic Technical Product Manager to work on PDFTron’s flagship product - WebViewer SDK. You will own the product roadmap together with the Product Owner to drive the vision and innovation of a technical and challenging product used by hundreds of thousands of developers every day. You will work closely with prospects, customers, designers, developers, sales and marketing. As a team product member, you will be able to contribute, improve existing processes and help the team to scale and adapt to new challenges.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with customers to understand their objectives and business goals and use this knowledge to build a product roadmap together with product leads that solve customer needs.
  • You will own a product area, the roadmap and the results together with product leads.
  • Describe the users’ end-to-end interactions with the product and the steps required to achieve a specific goal through user flows, user journeys, flow diagrams, and story maps
  • Collaborate with an agile engineering team to drive implementations
  • Collaborate with the design team to deliver simple and elegant solutions
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Support on market positioning and product launch activities, go-to-market strategy
  • Collect and measure key product metrics to inform success/failure of each release and navigate iterations accordingly
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of complementary and competing products
  • Explore, evaluate, and present new opportunities and partnerships to leadership

Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience as a technical product manager/product owner in an agile software development environment
  • Computer Science/Software/Computer Engineering degree is required
  • Previous hands-on development experience with Javascript (React, Vue, Node.JS), managing APIs or developing and presenting technical demos and content
  • Proven track record of successful SaaS product sales growth by optimizing product design, development and management within the B2B/B2C software industry
  • Excellent collaboration, communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams.
  • Familiarity with OKR framework
  • Familiarity with SCRUM
