Mobile Application Developer (Xamarin, C#) - Fleet Management

Role Summary

You will be working in a fast-growing IOT domain on vehicle telematics and connected mobility solutions operating in dozens of countries worldwide. Your responsibilities include the development and maintenance of a number of fleet management mobile applications associated with resolving issues and defects include determining root cause, remediating defective code, verifying code changes and regression testing prior to the deployment to production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Project Manager, Developers and Quality Assurance Engineers to understand and implement the requirement abd legacy code base
• Participate in all phases of the iterative development cycles, including requirement grooming, planning, daily standups (if any), defect root cause analysis, defect fix through deployment to production
• Enhance and maintain cross-platform applications to deliver an production grade mobile experience for the transportation industry
• Automate our development process as we strive for Continuous Delivery
• Provide timely support for technology and business decisions
• Remain up-to-date in emerging trends in software development, advocating for their adoption when appropriate
• Clearly articulate ideas both verbally and written to achieve positive outcomes
• Listen to others, encouraging and accepting input from all team members
• Appreciate and acknowledge individual and team contributions

Requirements

Required Skills and Experiences:

• Over 5 years of experience on mobile application development
• Xamarin, MVVMCross and C#/.NET development skills
• Strong experience with ReactiveUI and Refit
• Have experience of building RESTful APIs for mobile
• Have local database experience such as Realm or SQLite
• Have native application development experience on Android (Java, Kotlin) and/or iOS (Swift, Objective C)
• Track record of designing scalable cross-platform mobile solutions for both Android and iOS mobile devices
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming with a solid grasp of algorithms and data structures
• Excellent at troubleshooting mobile applications
• Proven track record of being a go to person who owns tasks from beginning to end
• Experience in Agile/DevOps methodologies and practice
• Have experience using JIRA and GIT, GITLAB
• Advocate of quality and automated testing
• Focus on driving a positive customer experience

• Creative, disciplined, strong sense of responsibility to delivery result to meet schedule and commitment
• Effective communication skills and a strong problem solver

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

• Working experience on Telematics or fleets/assets/mobility management software is a huge plus
• Server-side development experience in C#/Java is a plus
• UI/UX development experience is a plus
• Experience on Windows and Web application is a plus
• Experience on Google maps and other Google libraries and tools is a plus
