As Software Project Manager for Genetec, you will be part of the Mission Control Ramp;D Team and report directly to the Director of this area. You will also be part of the Project Management Office (PMO), which is a centralized team of Project Managers supporting the different product groups composing the Genetec ecosystem. The Mission Control Ramp;D Team is interacting with all product groups and as such, works closely with all product groups that are part of this one. The team is in constant evolution and continuously exposed to new technologies.

You will be given coaching and guidance to succeed and excel at your work by a team of project managers that are very familiar with the Genetec ecosystem and ways of working. Onboarding is well organized, offering training about our vast array of products as well as training on processes used such as Kanban. • Work with Directors, Development Managers, Project Managers from the Mission Control team in order to prioritise backlog, set key quality metrics, process adherence and alignment of s/w dependencies with other product areas
• Track the timeline, quality, and scope and initiate corrective planning as required
• Ensure that the Software release criteria are met
• Review and improve development processes and tools and seek alignment with other Product Groups
• Work on improving our product's key performance indicators and dashboards

• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, having worked in complex application s/w delivery contexts
• You have excellent communication, influential and negotiation skills, and have a win-win approach
• You have hands-on experience with application management tools such as TFS
• You have solid experience in establishing and tracking s/w quality indicators in project delivery
• You have used Agile or Kanban methodologies
• You have been actively involved in s/w development process definition and improvement

• Software development experience, such as programming using C#
• Experience using Power BI and creation of dashboards
• Experience in s/w testing and Quality Assurance
• Knowledge of networking concepts, cloud infrastructures and DevOps
• Knowledge of GIT and understanding of builds, merges and version branching concepts
