Our Team Is Virtually Interviewing For:

• As a Jr Kitchen Leader/Sous Chef , you will be responsible for coordinating kitchen operations, from ordering and receiving the raw materials to preparation of the basic sauces and ingredients. The sous chef trains and develops their team. They are responsible for top quality food, productivity of cooks, recruiting and grooming their team.

Working in the kitchen at LOCAL means that you will acquire the knowledge, experience, and confidence needed to prepare for your Red Seal certification. In addition to our culinary apprenticeship program, we facilitate in-store culinary competitions, quick-fire challenges, and black-box challenges.

We cannot train ‘Coachability’ but it is essential to our philosophy. To be on our team, you must be open to feedback, a straight shooter and have a desire to improve and grow in your development.
