The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Director, Client Acquisition and Engagement to join our Online Brokerage and Digital Wealth team.

Reporting to the VP of Product/Platform Strategy and Client Engagement, the Director, Client Acquisition amp; Engagement focuses on growing our world class Online amp; Digital Wealth products by building and executing on the B2B and B2C strategy. The Director will be accountable for revenue growth for the Digital Wealth business through the creation and execution of acquisition and engagement strategies and tactics to grow the customer base profitably across all our channels. To think boldly on how best to attract new and retain existing customers to our award-winning Qtrade Investor platform and VirtualWealth robo-advisor business so as to give Canadians flexible choices for building their wealth.

What your day looks like:

  • In partnership with the VP, develops and leads the execution of client acquisition and engagement growth strategies and tactics for Online Brokerage amp; Digital Wealth
  • Leveraging market knowledge and research, and working closely with the service/call center, business analytics team and finance to capture insights that will shape the client acquisition and engagement strategy
  • Develops business cases to support initiatives to be added to the Digital Wealth roadmap and identifies KPIs/metrics for each initiative to monitor results
  • Collaboratively and in partnership with our B2B Sales, Inside Sales and Marketing teams to develop acquisition plans for B2B and B2C opportunities
  • Collaboratively identifies opportunities with key partners to build engagement plans to drive growth
  • Fosters innovative thinking in conceiving new distribution channels and partnerships to grow client base
  • Leads the acquisition task force to drive aggressive acquisition growth strategies
  • Conceives attractive consumer incentive offers to drive revenue growth
  • Leads efforts to develop client journeys, identify and source required educational content tailored to client segments to drive greater engagement with the Digital Wealth platforms
  • Executes and implements appropriate client interventions, communications, and education at key points along each stage of the client journey
  • Defines and builds client experience and life cycle expectations including a best-in-class consumer education curriculum as well as compelling data driven acquisition/engagement and loyalty programs
  • Delivers client engagement strategies to improve onboarding, trading activity and retention with a focus on increasing share of wallet of our existing customer base
  • Partner with marketing to create clear content that speaks to our clients and partners
