This position oversees various video creative asset management workflows including content preparation, digital file creation, file encoding/transcoding, ingest and upload. Processing of client requests through to completion by employing various technologies, quality control principles and proactively addressing potential issues with order processing. Operation of video/audio equipment, hardware amp; software to meet all technical requirements is also required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the movement of customer orders to completion
- Set up and operate all professional video and audio equipment, both hardware amp; software based
- Correspond and confirm all job specifications and questions with the Client Management teams to ensure the timely completion of client orders
- Quality control of all content to ensure it meets video/broadcast standards and Extreme Reach specifications
- Video signal routing and patching required for content preparation amp; upload
- Production of work including digital file ingest, encode, watermarking, editing, tagging and closed captioning
- Logistics associated with processing physical media
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by manager
Requirements
- Experience with Video and Audio quality control measures via scopes and waveform monitors
- Minimum 2 Years Experience with Non Linear Video Editing Software including one or more of; Avid Media Composer, Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and Davinci Resolve
- Solid understanding of video file Transcoding, Automated and manual QC, Media Management, Audio measurement and analysis, File Transport, Closed Captioning data encoding
- Strong attention to detail and technical multi-tasking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual in French an asset
