Job Description

BLANKSLATE Partners is excited to partner with Freddie as they add to their growing team!

About Freddie

Freddie's mission is an ambitious one: halving the spread of new HIV infections. HIV is on the rise and over 50% of new HIV cases are in the LGBTQ2S+ community. We use telehealth to simplify access to PrEP, the HIV prevention pill that reduces your risk of acquiring HIV by 99%.

We launched in July 2020 after raising a seed round and are exploding with demand. We’re now one of (if not the) largest HIV prevention providers in Canada. And we’re just getting started.

Our culture is central to our success. We’re driven to sustain our phenomenal growth, and this means we’re always working closely and collaboratively to turn our ideas into reality. It’s this sense of pace, innovating and improving pretty much everything we do, which makes Freddie so exciting and unique.

We are looking for a Director of Operations to lead operations at Freddie including managing our Clinical Operations and Patient Care teams (~20 people) along with creating and refine processes so we can consistently deliver the absolute best patient experience.

  • Review, design, and execute process improvement plans. Institute a system of KPIs, get the team aligned and excited to achieve them, and continually strive to improve on them.
  • Identify knowledge and skills gaps and help address them.
  • Continually generate recommendations about strategic and tactical opportunities to improve the patient experience, prioritize, and execute on the highest impact ones, to continually improve the patient experience.
  • Continue to re-invent Freddie’s operations as needed as we scale to 5,000 and then 50,000 patients.
  • Drive successful delivery of clinical operations functions to meet business growth and financial performance targets, while meeting all clinical, regulatory, and legal requirements.
