Mandate:
The Systems Support Administrator will perform the below, but not limited to, tasks:
• Process and follow up with the EDI transmissions sent to the Canada Customs though our internal system.
• Communicate with overseas offices and agents to guarantee that documentation is received, and the information is fed into the system containing complete and accurate information.
• Identify and troubleshoot any possible issues that occur during the product lifecycle in the system.
• Maintain communication with the development team regarding issues related to the functionality of the system.
• Provide the staff with support on issues related to the system in general and EDI transmissions.
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyze and communicate root cause analysis.
• Facilitate and provide guidance and eventual training for users.
• Develop training manuals and standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
• 1 - 2 years of freight forwarding experience, specifically in air or ocean
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Canada and U.S.A. commercial reporting is considered an asset
