THE GOAL
Our Business Analysts are the link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of our clients projects. They know how to assess business problems, ask the right questions and translate those into technical needs to make a project succeed!
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate and uncover requirements, determine areas of improvement for existing systems and processes, develop superior solutions
- Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
- Work with a wide variety of technologies, and an even wider variety of clients in a number of different domains
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplined team of professionals to produce client driven results
- Document and communicate the results of your efforts
- Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
- Communicate key insights and findings to product team
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the client
- Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
- Contribute to the allocation of resources, identifying cost efficiencies and supporting the management of competing resources and priorities
- Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of project objectives
- Stay up to date on current best practices in the areas of business process and documentation and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
- You will be evaluated on your ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
Exposure to the Following an Asset:
- Practical and pragmatic with strong subject matter knowledge around Energy Trading and Risk Management software
- Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
