Job Summary
The Talent Manager is a key member of the Talent Centre of Excellence (COE) that supports the implementation of talent strategy, identification and development of talent in order to meet our strategic objectives.
Principal Responsibilities- Partner with HRBP team and the business to help facilitate talent management, succession, performance, and leadership development. Serve as a coach and trusted advisor.
- Support the performance management processes throughout the business, including goal setting, annual performance reviews and ongoing performance feedback.
- Lead the launch of new talent programs, from beginning to end, including needs analysis and measuring efficiency
- Lead internal talent pipeline development programs such as the Associate in Training (AIT), emerging leader and high potential programs.
- Build talent process training materials, such as succession planning and talent amp; performance calibration.
- Implement and lead the use of a variety of assessment tools that supports the development of internal candidates
- Stay current on talent standard methodologies and provide recommendations for ongoing improvements.
- Assess talent metrics to measure talent program efficiency to drive continuous improvement and make recommendations.
- Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of a feedback and learning culture within the organization.
- Work with Global talent council to roll out talent programs locally when needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field
- Certification in behavioural based assessments (e.g. DISC) preferred
- CHRP or CHRL designation preferred
- 7+ years in progressive Human Resources roles
- 3+ years leading, coaching and developing teams preferred
- Background in leadership development, succession planning and group facilitation
- Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), HRIS knowledge (preferably Workday)
